The Dainese Axial Gore-Tex Boots has now brought the prestigious Axial line from the racetrack to the wide-open road. With their Gore-Tex construction and the highest level of Dainese safety, these motorcycle boots will keep your feet safe no matter what the conditions are. As the name implies, these boots come with Dainese’s Axial Distorsion Control System (DCP) in Carbon and Aramid fiber to make sure your ankles are protected. And, in the rest of the shoe, there are metal inserts and a plastic slider.

With their high-quality liner, these shoes will also be perfectly comfortable for any sport-touring riding you may have in mind. These boots will also be competing with the SIDI Aria Gore-Tex and the Revit Pioneer H2O touring boots.

Like the regular Dainese Axial D1 boots, these boots are made of mainly a mix of D-stone, microfiber, and split cowhide leather inserts. The leather inserts are mainly found along the foot and the front of the shoe with additional D-Stone fabric towards the back. D-Stone is a high-tenacity twisted nylon that has a high resistance to tearing, abrasion, and breaking, not to mention being comfortable.

Lastly, the upper of the boot is made of microfiber, which is a polyurethane and polyamide material that also stands up well in the face of wear and tear. Microfiber also has the added benefits of being light and water repellent.

For protection, the Dainese Axial GoreTex Motorcycle boots will offer almost the same level as their racing cousins since they are also CE Cat. II certified. The toe features a replaceable plastic slider, unlike a magnesium slider on the Axial D1 boots, but there is also a Stainless-Steel Slider available. The toe box itself has also received nylon reinforcement, just like with the heel.

The boot includes metal inserts along the side and rear of the toe as well. Lastly, the sole offers a good grip for walking around and the shoe has a gear shifter guard to prevent wear and tear.

True to Dainese form, these boots are comfortable with their double jersey airgap liner. For temperature control, the boots do have a breathable waterproof Gore-Tex membrane with additional perforations along the top of the foot to encourage more airflow.

To put the boots on, Dainese have included a speed lacing system and a zipper at the back to get a tight fit. And, to make sure that you can still walk around comfortably with the boots on, the boots have a flexible joint in the ankle with an accordion stretch panel at the ankle. Lastly, it is crucial to note that production models of the Axial GTX boots do not include a suit to boot fastening system.

The Dainese Axial GTX Boots are the ideal pair of boots for anyone who wants the best of both the sport and the touring worlds. With their waterproof liner and ease of motion, these boots will work well on longer rides. Nonetheless, with their clear racing style and replaceable toe slider these shoes will still do well out on the track.
