Revit Trail H2O
The Revit Trail H2O Touring Boots are Revit’s latest touring focused boot. Made of a combination of leather and textile, Revit have been able to footwear that is both comfortable, abrasion resistant, and well put together. For protection, the shoe uses thermoformed hard protectors in high impact areas, and it uses a Hydratex Z-liner to add an additional waterproof layer. With its unique profile, the Trail H2O boot is designed for control stability for standing and flexibility for walking.
Since the Rev’It Trail H2O is a touring motorcycle boot, it will also be comfortable thanks to elastic inserts, easy entrance pull strap, and anatomically shaped foot bed. So, the Revit Trail H20 will be competing with the SIDI Aria Gore-Tex, Dainese Fulcrum GT Gore-Tex, and the Alpinestars Web Gore-Tex boots.
The outer shell of the Revit TrailH2O is mainly made of cowhide coated leather, which means that the leather will be even more water-repellent and soil resistant. For additional flexibility, the boot features PWR Shell 500D at the front of the ankle and in the back at the top of the boot. This ensures a good range of motion when walking, as well as a high level of abrasion resistance. PWR Shell is composed of high-performance polyamide yarns, which offer high durability and performance.
The thermoformed shin guard of the boot is coated in suede for additional abrasion resistance. This is also why Revit have added a rubber abrasion edge along the front of the toe. On the top of the toe, there is also an additional shifter guard.
Lastly, there is an additional reflection panel on the side and rear of the shoe to improve visibility.
The Rev’It! Trail H2O boots also include plenty of protection, which pushes them just into the lighter adventure rider segment of the market. At the top of the boot, there is a thermoformed shin guard, meant to keep your leg safe in most impacts. Additionally, the boot also includes a thermoformed heel and toe cup.
Lastly, the boot includes an anatomically shaped injected ankle cup to ensure that the key areas of your foot are kept safe and it still meets Revit's requirements for ergonomic features.
The Revit Trail H2O boots will be offering a high level of touring comfort. The sole has a unique polypropylene layer with an integrated shank to provide both rigidity and flexibility when walking or standing on the bike’s foot pegs. The sole itself is made of Revit’s Vibram Elevation, which is durable, strong, and its profile provides grip for control stability.
For closure, the boots include a pull strap in the back that you can use to make pulling the boot on all the easier. However, to properly close the boot, Revit have added an ECLAIR PRYM reinforced zipper to withstand all the rigors of long-distance touring. The zipper also includes a leather gusset to improve the boot’s weatherproofing and the zipper’s durability.
Lastly, the liner of the shoe is made of 3D mesh liner for added breathability and the boots include a waterproof Hydratex Z-liner.
The Revit Trail H2O boots are ideal for the tour rider and commuter and is positioned at an affordable price point. These midcalf boots include a lot of coverage using their thermoplastic protectors and specially treated leather construction. The innovative Rev'It by Vibram sole and strong zipper also allow for even durability of the boot.
