Revit Chevron 3 Gloves
The Revit Chevron 3 gloves are the updated version of the Chevron 2 gloves, and they seek to build upon their predecessors’ success, by offering a glove that is more flexible, and more sporty. Costing 90 Euros or around 100 USD at their recommended retail price, the Rev’It Chevron 3 gloves will compete with the Dainese Assen and the Dainese Carbon 3 gloves.
The Revit Chevron III gloves are made of a few different materials, with the front and most of the back of the gloves being made of goat leather. This leather is comfortable and soft and provides a good amount of abrasion resistance in the even you take a spill. That goat leather is reinforced with a second layer in high impact areas on the palm, and up the side of the hand onto the pinky.
For protection there is more on offer than just the abrasion resistant leather on the Revit Chevron Three riding gloves. Hard protection can be found over the knuckles in order to offer impact resistance and increased abrasion resistance in that area. There is also a hard-shell palm slider to offer further protection when you reflexively throw your arms out for protection in the event of a crash. Leather cowhide inserts can also be found on the joints of each finger, as well entirely up the top of the pinky, providing increased protection in these areas. The cuff uses a Velcro strap to make adjustment, and the cuff is made from polyurethane. Lastly the gloves are partially ventilated thanks to localized perforation on the cuff and on the fingers and thumb.
The Revit Chevron3 motorcycle gloves offer improved flexibility and comfort when compared to their predecessor. They also offer extra protection on the knuckles and palm, making them a great choice for any rider who wants some additional protection, but still wants to be able to move their fingers.
