Revit Dirt 3 gloves
The Revit Dirt 3 gloves are designed to meet the demands of touring and adventure riders, by offering a good blend of protection and ventilation, making them a great summer glove. And now, with the new addition of a women’s design for these gloves, they are truly made for everyone. Both the men’s and women’s gloves come at a recommended retail price of 90 Euros or about 100 USD, so these gloves will be competing with the Dainese Air Hero and the Alpinestars SP-2 gloves.
You obviously aren’t going to find much of a difference between the men’s and women’s versions of the Revit Dirt III gloves apart from the fit. The gloves are made largely from a combination of goat leather and 3D air mesh. The leather covers high impact areas such as the palm and the back of the hand to provide abrasion resistance, while the air mesh is found around the cuff and the top of the fingers in order to allow air to flow inside the glove. The cuff of the Revit Dirt Three gloves is made from polyurethane and the material used between the fingers is corduroy for comfort. The last material I’ll point out is the touch screen fingertip, which will allow you to use the touch screen on your phone without having to remove your gloves.
For protection, the Revit Dirt3 gloves offer TPR hard shell protection on both the knuckles and the finger knuckles, and also have a TPR palm slider. This provides impact resistance and increases abrasion resistance in the high impact areas where you need it most. Also, for protection we find a little bit of reflectivity on the index finger of the gloves to make you more visible to other riders at night.
The Dirt 3 gloves are a great choice for both men and women who want a well ventilated, affordable glove that will still offer them a good amount of protection on or off road.
